The Kickstart Scheme
The Kickstart Scheme is a £2 billion fund announced by the Treasury on 8 July 2020 as part of the Plan for Jobs. The scheme is open to employers from all industries across the private, public and voluntary sectors, and is run by the DWP.
“The changing job market means flexibility and a willingness to learn are more crucial than ever. The BTEC skills reform programmes delivered by The Education and Skills Partnership have been crucial to ensuring The Estée Lauder Companies is able to scale up participation in the Kickstarter initiative to get young people into employment without disrupting the business as it continues to drive digital transformation.”
Ashleigh Klue, Head of Learning and Development at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
