Dr. Adam Jordan, co-author of Inclusive Assessment: An Applied Approach (9th Edition, 2024), will discuss how assessment can be used as a tool for inclusion and teacher empowerment. An overview of the assessment responsibilities of teachers as well as practical applications of concepts will be discussed.
About the speaker
Dr. Adam Jordan, Professor, College of Charleston
A native of beautiful Madison County, Georgia, Adam is a former middle and high school teacher with a focus on alternative education. He received his Ph.D. in Education in 2013 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, he is an associate professor of Special Education at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, where his research is focused on well-being in school spaces for teachers and students.
